Invasive Industry

This project is meant to replicate the invasive vine kudzu using discarded and synthetic fabrics as a metaphor for the unchecked growth of fast fashion. Fast fashion is quickly taking over landfills and contaminating ecosystems, much like kudzu takes over buildings, forests, and mountainsides. The fashion industry's unrelenting speed and dependence on non-sustainable materials will continue to spread, suffocating the environment if left unchecked.
